Dear Island Lake Property Owners,                                              

The Island Lake Property Owners Association will hold their fall meeting on Saturday, September 3, at 11:00 a.m. at Trinity United Methodist Church in Rose City, The directors will meet at 9:30 a.m. 

Our 2012 Membership dues of $20.00 are due on or before October 1^st.  You can pay your dues at this meeting or by sending them to our treasurer at 7187 N. Portsmouth Rd. Saginaw, MI  48601

We have several new families with homes on the lake.  This will be a good time for all of our members to invite their new neighbors to attend this meeting.  We welcome all property owners from around the lake.

The 14^th annual 4^th of July boat parade was another great success thanks to Clare Hulett.  The parade is a source of pride for lake residents and a lot of fun for those involved. 

Once again, we are proud of our family of swans this year.  Mother, father and their three babies are all doing ‘swimmingly’.

For the ladies, there will be a luncheon held on Thursday, September 8^th at Los Cuatro Amigos Restaurant on N. US 23 in East Tawas.  Call Judy Sederlund at 989-685-2804 or Dawn Hartel at 989-685-8771 to R.S.V.P. if you plan to attend.

Don’t forget the second Island Lake Arts and Craft Show at the corner of Oak and Dyer Roads on Saturday, September 3 and Sunday, September 4. 

This has been an extremely warm summer.  I hope this hasn’t kept you from enjoying your place on the lake this year.

The 2nd annual Island Lake Arts & Crafts show will be on


Sept. 3rd & 4th. Bring your artistic creations and set up on Fri eve. or Sat. morning.


The show times will be 10:ooam to 4:oopm each day.


The location is the corner of Oak and Dyer rds.
